At IAQCert, we believe that education is the first defense in improving indoor environments — and we’re proud to announce a major addition to our course offerings. While our Certified Technician Programs continue to offer industry-leading training for professionals, we’re now expanding into a new space that offers targeted, practical knowledge: the IAQCert Awareness Training Series.
This brand-new series will soon appear at the top of our website’s “Courses” menu — clearly marked and easy to find. Though the series is not live yet, we’re hard at work preparing the first course, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
🎓 What is the IAQCert Awareness Training Series?
Unlike our full technician certifications, the Awareness Training Series is designed to be:
- Compact – shorter, focused learning experiences
- Accessible – open to the general public, not just industry professionals
- Credible – backed by the IAQCert name and our high-quality standards
These courses aren’t about using advanced tools or field assessments — they’re about understanding the warning signs, knowing what to look for, and having the language to communicate concerns effectively.
Our first course under this new series is already in development:
🏠 Certified in Home Health Awareness (CHHA)
This course will provide essential knowledge on how indoor conditions affect health, how to spot visual and olfactory red flags in a home, and how to responsibly raise those concerns without crossing professional boundaries. Whether you’re a real estate agent, renter, homeowner, or service provider, this course delivers powerful, practical insight — without the need for prior technical training.

As we grow, we continue to listen to feedback from our students and professional partners. Many asked for easier access to environmental education — something digestible, credible, and affordable. That’s where the Awareness Series comes in.
