Coming Soon: Certified European Safety Awareness Technician (CESAT)
Almost ready!
IAQCert is proud to announce that we are finalizing development of the Certified European Safety Awareness Technician (CESAT) course—part of our growing IAQCert Safety & Compliance Series. This program is designed to meet the high safety standards required across European workplaces, ensuring learners gain practical, EU-aligned knowledge to help protect workers and promote compliance.
Why CESAT Matters
Workplace safety is a universal priority, but European industries face unique challenges under regulations like Directive 89/391/EEC and standards enforced by EU-OSHA. CESAT is being developed to equip professionals with the skills to recognize hazards, implement control measures, and align with both EU directives and EN standards.
What the Course Will Cover
The CESAT curriculum is structured to provide both theoretical grounding and practical application. Core topics will include:
- Workplace hazard identification and risk assessment
- PPE regulation under EU 2016/425
- Chemical safety and labeling under REACH and CLP
- Emergency planning and preparedness
- Machinery safeguarding and ergonomics
- Psychosocial risks and prevention strategies
Course Structure
CESAT will include 12 modules and 5 progressive exams, delivered in two flexible formats:
- LearnEase: 48 in-depth lessons for structured learning and long-term reference.
- CertFast: A 1-hour certification exam for experienced safety professionals who want rapid credentialing.
Certification Benefits
Graduates will earn the **Certified European Safety Awareness Technician (CESAT)** credential along with a certificate, digital badge, and personalized ID card. This professional credential can be listed in signatures, LinkedIn profiles, tenders, or jobsite documentation—for example: Jordan Michaels, Certified European Safety Awareness Technician (CESAT).
Who Should Enroll?
- Safety coordinators and site supervisors
- Inspectors and compliance officers
- Construction and industrial managers
- Professionals in logistics and transportation
Part of a Growing Series
CESAT joins other IAQCert offerings such as the Certified U.S. Safety Awareness Technician (CUSAT) and the Certified Canadian Safety Awareness Technician (CCSAT). Together, these certifications form a global network of training designed to align with regional safety laws and best practices.
