Coming Soon: Certified School Indoor Air Quality Awareness (CSIAQA)
At IAQCert, our mission is to create powerful, accessible training that helps people make healthier decisions at home, at work, and in their communities. That’s why we’re proud to share that our next major development project is already underway: the Certified School Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Awareness course.
This new program will focus on one of the most important environments in any society: our schools.
Why This Course Matters
In schools around the world, from North America to Europe, Asia, and beyond, students face invisible threats to health—poor air circulation, hidden mold, chemical pollutants, and pest-related allergens.
These issues impact not just air quality, but also student health, concentration, attendance, and long-term development, regardless of geography.
The Certified School IAQ Awareness course will empower:
- Parents concerned about their children’s daily environment
- Teachers who want to ensure safe learning spaces
- School staff and administrators looking for practical solutions
- Community advocates pushing for healthier educational infrastructure
What the Course be covered with Certified School Indoor Air Quality Awareness
The curriculum will include 7 core modules and 3 bonus lessons, covering:
- Common pollutants and where they come from
- Ventilation and airflow basics for schools
- Moisture and mold detection
- Integrated pest management
- How to visually recognize and report IAQ concerns
- Community advocacy for healthier buildings
- Global guidelines and real-world school case studies
The goal is to equip everyday individuals with non-technical, practical knowledge to create change in their own communities—starting with the places children learn.
Part of the IAQCert Awareness Training Series
This new course will proudly join our Awareness Training Series, which also includes:
- 🏠 Certified in Home Health Awareness – launched on August 1
While those courses focus on sustainable construction and healthy living environments at home, the School IAQ Awareness program turns attention to one of society’s most foundational spaces: the classroom.
What’s Next? Building with Experts
We’re now reaching out to leading subject matter experts (SMEs) in school environmental health, educational facility management, and pediatric health—from North America and around the world.
If you’re an SME—or know someone passionate about IAQ in schools—we want to hear from you.
Creating this course requires cross-disciplinary and international insight, and IAQCert is committed to partnering with professionals who understand both the science and the day-to-day challenges inside educational institutions in diverse global contexts.
